I had a charm pendant I made for my little brother, to make sure no one at his school bullied him and he could make friends. Long story. The glamour I built into it was strong, so I altered the spell to make sure no one else could use it. If anyone stole it and tried to wear it, they would freeze in place. Simple mind control enchantment. If you're just telling someone to stop moving versus forcing them to act against their nature, they take it more easily.
Of course, that would still involve getting close enough to you to shove a necklace over your head, but it's a thought.

We each make a collar as part of our Librarius training. Every Librarian does. My kind always think of the possibility of having to use it on ourselves.
